The Magic House

Avery has been begging us to take her back to The Magic House. We went a few months ago when her cousins were in town, and any time she sees the picture of her and Daddy with their hair sticking up from the static ball she would practically cry while asking us to take her back.
So, we had planned to take her during our week home with Daddy. Imagine my surprise when last week Andrew told me he purchased a membership to The Magic House from Groupon. Normally $150, this $75 deal includes free entrance for our entire family for a year, 10 free guest passes, a $5 gift card, 10% off food and gift shop purchases, and a members only entrance (I could give or take that last one, ha!).
At $8.75 a person, 6 visits will more than pay for this Groupon deal. Plus, Andrew thinks it will be something fun we can do more in the winter/spring months when we need to get out. And with the way Avery has been asking to go, we may visit a few times each month!
So, we took Hadley to her first big outing for several hours. And she did great! I used my Moby wrap to keep her nice and cozy and close, which was easier than waiting for the elevator.
It was by far the most crowded experience we've ever had there, but we don't typically go during the summer hours. But Avery had a blast, and that's all that mattered. She cried when we left (not a big fit, just a few tears) and then begged to go back immediately. Typical Avery! :)
Needless to say, we'll be going back soon. I don't know if I could handle both girls by myself, but maybe we can kick out another visit or two during my maternity leave.
Here are me and both girls at The Magic House:
